Eva is an outgoing hairstylist with a passion for color; she loves to experiment with creative dye jobs and unique hair cuts… she even created her own hair color (it’s called Red Violet)! She was excited to try a can of Go Girl on her lunch break to give her a boost to last through the end of her work day.
“I’m from Buffalo, New York,” she told Go Girl, “I just needed a change. I wanted to move to a city that is more progressive and alive.”

Lauren is a fun and friendly young lady with a smile really draws you in. Her simple, yet chic, style is both timeless and practical. Her cute jacket is a necessity on Oregon, where it rains most of the time in the winter. Lauren lives in the center of town, and usually walks or uses public transportation to get around. Her boots are made for walking! Lauren’s favorite thing about her outfit? Her glasses.

Suzie was managing a store the other day in Hollywood when she caught our eye. Her outfit was so clean, cute and girly… we loved it! Outside of work, Suzie is a drummer in a band and says that her style is influenced by her musical tastes.

Lizbeth is a beautiful artist and spirit, originally from Guanaguato, Mexico. She now lives and works in Los Angeles, and is an amazing ceramic artist. Go Girl saw her work at a downtown Los Angeles craft show, and it was apparent that her trade is her passion. As for style, Lizbeth was simple, clean, and classic, which we loved – her hat was a stand-out piece that caught our eye immediately!

Madeline has a very eclectic fashion style: she ranges anywhere from bohemian, to preppy, to hipster. During our chat, Madeline told us that she’s very proud of the fact that she recently earned her yoga instructor certification and landed a job teaching classes at her school’s gym. Yoga helps her stay centered and relaxed after a long, taxing day of school.
“I specify in Jaya Yoga,” she told Go Girl. “It gives me an all-body workout, and my mind gets to relax. Sometimes that’s just what you need after a day of tough classes!”

Go Girl met Charlottte at Cileo Home, where she works as a showroom supervisor and assistant designer. Just a glance at Charlotte’s outfit and you can tell — this girl has design skills! Her girly lace top is the perfect juxtaposition to her combat-style boots.
“I studied art history in college,” she told Go Girl. “While there doesn’t seem to be too much you can do with an art history degree, it’s helped me a lot with my career in interior design.” We also think it has helped her to perfectly style an awesome ensemble!

Maria’s style is influenced by both American and Japanese brands. This Japan native is studying biology and chemistry, while looking rather fabulous! A mix of textures and colors gives Maria a unique look that not everyone can pull off. Wearing shorts out in the winter may be risky in the Northwest, but we think Maria is rocking it.
“I don’t really have a certain style per se; I choose my outfits each morning based on how I am feeling,” she told Go Girl. “But I always love something cute and comfy.”

Go Girl caught up with Alexa on her way to a book store, after working out at the Portland State University gym. She’s an international studies major and is hoping to teach abroad when she graduates. Alexa’s style is timeless; she loves to wear black and try out different hair styles. We love her high bun!
“I also love to wear hats,” she told Go Girl. “Not only is it a great way to spice up your outfit, but it’s a great way to disguise a bad hair day.”

Ellen is truly living her style goal by opening a vintage and pre-owned clothing shop in the heart of Portland. She collects and curates an assortment of high-quality vintage dresses, tops, shoes, bags, and jackets. Ellen loves to wear pre-owned clothing because each piece has a unique story, and it’s a form of recycling (a very cute way of recycling, we might add).
“Most of the clothes at the shop are brought in by Portlanders that tell me all about the piece; it’s history and emotional significance,” she told Go Girl. “That’s why the clothes are so special. Plus, it’s fun to tell customers where each piece came from.”

We caught Danielle at a coffee shop researching about grad schools for speech pathology. She said it took her nearly all four years as an undergrad to figure out her passion, but she found it in speech therapy when she landed a job at a clinic and learned more about it. Danielle likes to dress rather professionally but throws in vintage accessories and hats when she can.
“Communication is everything in this world,” she told Go Girl, “Helping a child better communicate makes me feel like I’m truly making a difference.”

“I moved to Portland from Iowa with my twin sister five years ago,” Sam told Go Girl. “My style was instantly inspired by the city and it’s people.”

I found Go Girl Brenda on the Boardwalk at her job, selling trendy clothing to beach goers! Brenda has taken a semester off of school and will be attending LA Trade Tech soon for… what else? Fashion! Brenda told us Go Girl would help her get going in the morning, or keep her energized to go out with friends after a long day at school.
Brenda claims her support system and her own drive are most important to her. “My family, and pushing myself to go further, are what motivates me!”

Sydney works in retail, so she has an eye for design. She loves to shop at thrift stores, where she scored her amazing fur coat! Her playful personality draws people in, and Sydney told us that her unique style is inspired by anything prairie related.
Also, if you’re curious about the balloon (we were!), Sydney explained. “Some man dressed up as a bunny or dog or something just walked by and asked if I’d like this ballon,” she told Go Girl, “I’ll never say no to a balloon!” We think it’s a fabulous accessory!
