About Breast Cancer
Breast cancer effects one of every eight women and unfortunately there are no symptoms of breast cancer, however there are early detection signs to look out for. Breast lumps and an abnormal mammogram are two of the most common signs of breast cancer. There are many stages of breast cancer, ranging from early; curable breast cancer to metastatic breast cancer which could be deadly. There are also many different types of breast cancer, with many varieties of treatments. Women are not the only ones that are susceptible to breast cancer, about 1,450 men in the United States will be diagnosis with breast cancer next year.
